Another FIRST this year, NEDC (the
National Employee Development Center) is offering four
official NEDC training courses in conjunction with the
AIANEA/APIO conference in Anchorage, Alaska.
These courses are Official NEDC
training courses.Attendance will be posted with your
AgLearn training record. These four classes are only
being offered through the AIANEA and APIO web sites.
August 9-11, 2006 (Wednesday - Friday)
"Instructor Training (Application)"
August 14, 2006 (Monday) "Instructor
Training (Introduction)"
August 18, 2006 (Friday) "Platform
Skills"
August 21-23, 2006 (Monday - Wednesday)
"Managing for Excellence"
Enrollment in these courses is different
than what you would normally do to get enrolled in the
courses:
1. Select the class(es) to attend.
2. Secure the necessary approvals
from your state (DO NOT MAKE REQUEST IN AGLEARN)
3. Email clyde.goodman@ftw.usda.gov
with your request.
4. Clyde will enroll you in the
class(es) and notify you of your enrollment.
This special process is being used
to give priority to members and others attending the
conference. This process was reviewed with the state
training officers at the last Training Officers Teleconference.
